FUT Gallery is one of the biggest new features in FC 27 Ultimate Team. If you are opening it for the first time, the system may look complicated, but the basic idea is simple: collect Player Items, place them into themed Sets, improve their score, activate Tags, and work your way from D to S.

The most important thing to understand is that FUT Gallery is a record of your club history, not another version of an SBC. Once an eligible Player Item has been recorded, it can continue counting toward your Gallery even if you later sell it or use it in an SBC. That makes the system much more flexible than it initially appears.

How FUT Gallery Works

You can access the Gallery through Club → Gallery. From there, you can choose different Sets based on themes such as leagues, clubs, nations, rarities, campaigns, and other player characteristics.

When an eligible card enters your club, it can become part of your Gallery collection. You do not have to keep that card forever.

For example, you might buy a player from the Transfer Market using your FC 27 Coins, use that player to satisfy a Gallery requirement, and later sell the card. The player can still remain recorded in your Gallery.

The same applies if you eventually submit an eligible card into an SBC. Gallery progress is based on the fact that the item passed through your club rather than requiring you to keep it in your squad permanently.

Loan Items are an important exception, as they do not count toward Gallery collections.

How to Fill a Gallery Set

The process is straightforward:

• Open Club.
• Select Gallery.
• Choose a Set.
• Check the required player conditions.
• Add eligible Player Items.
• Confirm the changes.
• Regrade the Set.

You can choose your players manually or use Autocomplete to fill the Set with eligible items automatically.

Unlike an SBC, adding a player to a Gallery Set does not consume the card. The same eligible Player Item can also contribute to compatible Sets, allowing one card to become useful in several parts of your Gallery.

This is particularly helpful early in the game when your club is still small.

Understanding D to S Grades

Every completed Gallery Set receives a grade from D, C, B, A, to S.

Your score comes from two main parts: the Item Score of the cards in the Set and the additional score provided by active Tags.

In simple terms:

Total Score = Base Item Score + Bonus Tag Score

Higher-rated and rarer cards generally provide more Item Score. This means upgrading the cards in a Set can increase its grade over time.

However, simply using the highest-rated players is not always enough. Tags can make a major difference, so you should check the available bonuses before replacing cards.

Once you obtain better players, return to an existing Set and use Regrade to calculate the new score and grade.

How Tags Increase Your Score

Tags are bonus conditions that reward specific combinations of cards.

Some of the important examples include:

• Same League — five or more players from the same league
• Same Nation — five or more players from the same nation
• Same Club — five or more players from the same club
• Different League — players from different leagues
• Different Nation — players from different nations
• Different Club — players from different clubs
• First Owner — players you originally obtained yourself
• Golden — eligible Gold items
• Silver — eligible Silver items
• Bronze — eligible Bronze items
• TOTW — eligible Team of the Week items

A Tag becomes active when its requirements are met. The bonus is then added to the relevant cards’ score and can push the Set toward a higher grade.

For example, if you have several players from the same league, building around that group may give you a better result than simply mixing unrelated high-rated cards.

Some Tags also scale when more qualifying cards are added, so a larger group can provide a stronger bonus.

First Owner Cards Matter

First Owner is especially useful for new players to understand.

A player purchased from the Transfer Market can still count toward a Gallery Set and provide normal Item Score. However, that card does not qualify for the First Owner Tag.

Players obtained through packs and other eligible first-owner sources can satisfy that requirement.

This means you do not need a completely First Owner club to use FUT Gallery effectively. Market purchases remain useful, while First Owner cards can provide an additional scoring opportunity.

How to Push a Set Toward S

If your goal is an S Grade, start by looking at the Set’s available Tags before buying anything.

First, fill the Set with cards you already own. Then check your current score and identify which Tags are close to activation.

Maybe you already have four players from the same league and only need one more. Or perhaps several First Owner cards in your club can activate another Tag.

After activating the easiest bonuses, compare the Item Scores of your cards. Replace weakercards when better options become available, then Regrade the Set.

This approach is much more efficient than buying expensive players blindly. It also makes managing FC 27 Coins for sale decisions easier because you can decide whether a card is worth keeping based on its long-term Gallery value rather than its squad value alone.

A Simple Beginner Routine

For your first few days, do not try to complete every Set.

Start with the Sets that match players already in your club. Activate easy Tags, collect the available rewards, and gradually improve your grades.

A good routine is:

• Complete easy Sets first.
• Check active Tags before making changes.
• Keep an eye on First Owner requirements.
• Upgrade low-scoring cards when convenient.
• Regrade Sets after major improvements.
• Use your existing club before spending heavily on the Transfer Market.

The key is patience. Your Gallery will naturally become stronger as you open packs, complete Objectives, earn rewards, and add new Player Items throughout the FC 27 cycle.

FUT Gallery is designed as a long-term collection system. You are not permanently sacrificing cards just because you add them to a Set, and cards that have already been sold or used in an SBC can still remain part of your Gallery history.

Once you understand the difference between Base Item Score, Bonus Tag Score, and the final D-to-S Grade, the system becomes much easier to manage.

Start with the cards you already own, learn how Same League, Same Nation, and First Owner Tags work, and improve your Sets whenever better cards become available. You do not need an expensive club to begin. A smart combination of cards and Tags can gradually turn a basic collection into an S-ranked Gallery.
