It’s more critical to learn the methods that beat or counter formations than privious. You’ll see a few people abuse custom formations, a lot of people cheat gameplay and tactics, most of people have no concept to overcome each formation. Individual play style and group members make up your own formations, so, there are no difference on good or not. Now, you should learn how to set your own game around a specific formation.
In this guide, I have provided some of the formations that have been proven to work well for a number of players. I have also provided some of the drawbacks and strengths of these formations to give you an idea of how to use them most effectively.
4-4-2:Let’s start with the old classic, the 4-4-2. Whilst it is not necessarily the most fashionable of formations, it can still be very effective, but you have to get it right. There is a reason that this formation has been so widely used over the years. It offers exceptional balance and is the most ‘symmetrical’ formation going. Two banks of four can make you very hard to break down, and means that your full backs have support along with your conventional wide men getting up and down the pitch.
Since Ultimate Team began, the 4-1-2-1-2 is probably the most common formation used and with good reason. It has excellent balance in midfield with the deeper defensive players providing the cover for the attacking midfielder. The shape of the midfield gives plenty of options for people who enjoy the passing game. Triangles between all players on the pitch give controllers the opportunity to play the quick possession, tiki-taka style of football. The only downside to the formation is people have become accustomed to either; using the formation in other games or watching tutorials of the formation online, so most common Ultimate Team players will have a plan to stop and counter against you. You will need an attacking midfielder with high quality as the majority of your attacking play will go through him. A player with excellent dribbling, shooting and passing will be the key attributes on that particular card.
Advantages- Has the CDM and CAM for fast build up down the middle. CAM can link the two strikers playing 1-2s to slice through defences. The CDM gives great cover at the back. Disadvantages- Slightly predictable as most attacks will be down the middle.
4-3-3: made famous over the last few seasons by Barcelona this is an attacking formation which relies on good passing between the front 6. More for experienced FIFA players who know how to create fast attacks. If using this the middle CM needs to be a defensive player. You also need wingers with stamina to help out the midfield. Best using Organised chance creation unless wingers are great finishers. Advantages- Has close midfielders for triangle passes with high wingers to stretch the play.Disadvantages- Not strong in midfield and only one main striker.
3-5-2: here is legal to have multiple attack options with a means of well congested field. There are two side, one attacking midfielder and two contro-forwards. All this options are perfect for crutos and quick passes and kill opponents played even in the beginning. With two wheels, you can use them to support the defenders and intercept passes before the completion of the move of the opponent.
4-2-3-1: This formation is also one for the defending players, because of the four defenders and two defending midfielders. You will need to invest in attacking players, because they need to be of a high level. Especially your striker needs to score a lot, because he is only one up front! – See more at:
4-5-1:It has so abounding humans advance beyond the midfield it becomes annoying to clue down the ball. It can exhausted you in a few ways. The 3 CM can canyon able-bodied to the striker, out advanced or a part of themselves. The LM and RM bead to abutment the midfield but are agog to advance the brawl wing. You tend to overlook that there is a striker up top. He alone links up for the final touches or attempt at goal. There;s not abundant you can do about that. Focusing on the 3 CM and let your LB and RB anguish about the LM and RM. 4-2-3-1, 4-4-2(flat), 3-4-3 and 5-3-2 would help.
I don’t know if these introduction can help you while playing FIFA games, so, I hope you can give us more information by leaving your comments.
